Weehooo – Day three!

Goodmorning! Yesterday was day three. IMG_4194

Of course we started our day with breakfast – still delicious! Then we drove to the supermarket because we needed bread rolls and sandwich meat for our trip. The plan was a big hike at the “Wilder Kaiser”. A serious mountain range with beautiful views everywhere. But first, new shoes! I have seen some nice walking shoes for an even nicer price! These Mammut shoes have memory foam as a footbed, so let’s try them for our walk.

At the hotel we asked for a “beginner” route because of our baby, not for us, not at all, AHUM! The route was leading us to the middle of the mountain, the “GaIMG_4283udeamushütte”. The route was very much upwards so very exhausting. But *Oh* so damn beautiful! We saw some grazing cows at the meadows and had the most delicious “Kaiserschmarrn” (thick pancakes with sugar, raisins and berries). Then we continued our journey up to the mountain, but unfortunately at a certain point we lost the signs and had to stop the hike. At that point we were very tired so it didn’t matter much. I can tell you, after this very heavy walk, my feet didn’t hurt at all, AMAZING!

We went back to the car and drove to the Schwarz-See, a very nice lake in the mountains where you can rent a boat, sup-board or just take a swim. We just sat there a bit and relaxed with the three of us at the lake.

After that we went to Sankt Johann for some shopping. I have seen a pretty Dirndl which was in my price range *YAY*! I didn’t buy it yet, because hey we are just here….. Maybe I see a prettier one! We all enjoyed a nice ice-cream, and went back to the hotel to freshen up. Zenzi was super tired so she slept while changing. We went to Kitzbühel to have dinner at one of our favorite places called Huber Bräu. They serve typical Austrian/Italian dishes and they all are amazing. After our dinner we wanted to have some wines at Hillinger but it was super busy there so we skipped on that. We went home to get a nice rest!
